They have found that feelings of love lead to a suppression of activity in the areas of the brain controlling critical thought.
It seems that once we get close to a person, the brain decides the need to assess their character and personality is reduced.
The study, by University College London, is published in NeuroImage.
The researchers found that both romantic love and maternal love produce the same effect on the brain.

Health is becoming less and less of an issue as people live longer despite being unfit. People need to realize that beauty is not skin deep, it’s an overall assessment of someone’s health (and ultimately their children’s health). Quality of life is more important that quantity, so if you want to be happy, be fit.

When it comes to the human male attraction to human females, I believe there are two kinds of guys: “Shallow” and “Deep”. Both types of males start out almost the same regarding their initial attraction to women: They are primarily initially attracted (or repelled) by a woman’s appearance. And to what several people above have said, yes, there is something biological about being attracted to people who are beautiful, but it isn’t cut and dry. Men are attracted to women with boobs and at least some sort of hips because it shows fertility, symmetry of the face shows health, as does nice hair, and plump lips shows sexual maturity.

honestly, do you ever stop to think why humans have reached a point in their path where more and more people are born and/or suffer from genetic diseases, viruses mutate and so on? maybe, just maybe the reason lies int he fact that people who should never be allowed to produce offspring do (yeah, i know it sounds racist, but open your eyes and see it). in nature the sick and unfit animals die - it’s cruel, but this way every generation carries only the best of genes and is perfectly capable of adapting to its surroundings or surviving viral outbreaks,etc. what happens in the human society? we have hundreds of organizations, which defend the rights of poor,diseased, weak human beings to procrastinate - i am sorry, but i DON’T think it’s a good idea HIV-infected and malnourished africans to give birth to 4-5 children, nor is it ok for poor, again diseased indians to do so. Western culture screams and defends this people’s rights, but what you fail to see is that this way we are seriously fucking up our genetic fond and in the near future it will turn against us. Seriously, nothing personal - just biology.

I’ll do you a favor and break your argument down for you.
First of all you state that people who ‘suffer’ should not have children and follow this up by saying you know this might sound racist. Are you suggesting only one particular race suffers from mutations, viruses etc? Have you left your house recently? Read the news perhaps? Diseases, mutations, death and sickness are rife throughout the entire world. Causes can be traced back to numerous factors, many that have nothing to do with the things you seem so overly concerned about. And newsflash, white people have just as many problems as the diseased ‘brown’ people.
Your little biology lecture suggests a serious lack in formal education if only because you make it sound like by being fat or sick you are certain to pass on these traits to your children and this is simply not true. Certain aspects are hereditary yes, but being fat doesn’t mean your children will, nor does being sick give your children less of a chance at life.
My favorite part of your whole sermon was where you said you smoke and can ‘afford’ the bad habit. Alright. So lets say someone is heavy but doesn’t drink, doesn’t smoke, works out and takes vitamins. They also would be able to ‘afford’ the habit. Don’t stand on your soap box being all zealous when you’re busy inhaling smoking ash into your lungs. If you’re so concerned about the future why not think of what all that second hand smoke is doing?
Nobody can tell you what to think or how to feel, but maybe before you go putting it all out there, you’ll get a little bit better reasoning. All people have just as much of a right to live and love as you do, how dare you even for a second think that you’re better than the rest of the population. You’re subject to the course of nature just as much as the rest of us.
