Regarding many information about Fukushima nuclear plant situation it is known that a lot of exploration in reactor buildings is done by PackBot robots. Special battle-hardened variant of PackBots robots are used in Fukushima and are remote controlled. Robots have been used to measure radiation and explore Units 1, 2, and 3 of power plant.
