The Monumental Architecture of Berlin City

Berlin is not just the capital city of Germany, it has a very impressive and monumental architecture and buildings. With its 3.5 million inhabitants, its Germany’s largest city too. One of the most famous monuments in Berlin is the Brandenburg Gate. The Gate was commisioned by Friedrich Wilhelm II and designed by Karl Gotthard Langhans. The main idea of this gate is to represent the peace. The gate was part of the Berlin wall during the years of the Communist government in Germany but is now the symbol of the reunification again.¬†Anyway, the Gate is well-known landmark of Berlin and is absolutely worth of your visit.
