Sydney Opera House
An icon that is well-renowned all across the globe, the Sydney Opera House is often one of the first things that come to mind when Australia is mentioned. Being one of the world’s best performing art centres, it is a must-see. You will be amazed at the design, which was created in order to mimic the large sails that came into the Sydney Harbour. Even if opera is not your cup of tea, there are plenty of different performances that can be seen. It is home to the Opera Australia, The Australian Ballet, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, and the Sydney Theatre Company. If time does not allow seeing a show, it is recommended to pack a lunch and sit near the ledges of the waterside. Enjoy a nice meal while basking in some of the most beautiful views.

Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb
This is the ideal activity for adventurous visitors that are looking to experience some excitement. The Sydney Harbour Bridge is one of the most amazing pieces of architecture in the area. It spans over the harbour, which gives unbeatable views over the entire city itself. Over 3 million people have climbed the bridge and accomplished the tremendous feat. Prices can be a bit steep at around $200. If you are traveling on a budget, the Bridge Pylon Climb is another option that still offers spectacular views, but at an affordable price of $10.

Taronga Zoo
This zoo offers a great activity that the whole family can enjoy. There is so much to see in so little time, from the animals to the amazing enclosures and views of the city. Taronga Zoo lives up to its hype for being so open, free, and very well-maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful, so make sure you are not shy about asking questions. It is a great learning experience for the young and the old! It is highly suggested that you save time to take the Sky Safari gondola ride over the zoo grounds too. The zoo is easily accessible from the Sydney Harbour ferry. The price of admission is $44 for adults as well as $22 for children over 4 and children under 4 get in for free.
