Teatro alla Scala is a famous opera in Italy. This opera building was built on place of an old burned opera (Teatro Regio Ducal) in 1778 and got the name Nuovo Regio Ducal Teatro alla Scala. This opera in Milano become on of the most famous opera houses on this planet. The opera building was designed by architect Giuseppe Piermarini. The opera was damaged in the World War Two but renoved in 1946. The next wave of renovation came from 2002 to 2004. Duomo di Milano is one of the fourth largest cathedrals in the world and it took nearly six centuries to complete it. In La Scala took place many premieres including Turandot and Madama Butterfly by Giacomo Puccini or Otello by Giuseppe Verdi and is still, by no doubt, an important place for world art take place every year.
