The United States Botanic Garden is a indoor garden established by Congress in the year 1820. The botanical garden is placed on the grounds of US Capitol and contains about 4000 species – seasonal, tropical and subtropical plants (about 26000 plants together). Next to the botanical garden is located the National Museum of the American Indian. Wonderful is a section called the Jungle with lots of palms and vines, than the Orchid Room, a Meditation Garden, a Primeval Garden and the gardens for children. The Conservatory is open daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
