The Equinox Mountain is the Highest Mountain in Southwestern Vermont, United States, outside of Manchester. The highest peak reach an altitude of 3848‘. The valley contains three man made lakes. The valley had 40 farm families with 3 school houses about 150 years ago. The last family left this area in 1892. The Davidsons bought out significant area since 1939. Because they had no children they gave its property to a religious order called Carthusians.
