It is a great party, everyone must go at least once.
Before the battle, The end of “the Tomatina” is when a huge pole is erected. It is covered with soap and has a leg of ham on the end. The most daring try to climb as high as possible to get their hands on the prize, to the general delight of onlookers.

i´ve been to this, its fun. It can get quite smelly as there are lots of tomatoes in the hot sun. afterwards everything gets washed away and people dance their ass off.
