Could December 21st, 2012 be the end of the days? There are many opinions out there.
There are three groups of opinions:
- Global Cataclysm
- Awakening
- Combination
I personally prefer opinion two;) Awakening means that people start use their brain for thinking not destroying.
For opinion one there stands popular forecasts.
The most popular is the Mayan calendar, which ends abruptly on the Winter Solstice, December 21st, 2012 and forecasts dire events before the end.
Of course Nostradamus’ quatrains, as per usual, tell the End of Times in 2012 as an odd and abstract, poetic outline of happenings.
The are of course many scientific hypothesis about magnetism and so on to make a little bit more chaos like always.
Of course we do not need to forget aliens which persistently take people and telling them about end of days.
So please everybody concentrate on option two so I can write some new nice article in January 2013 too:)

any1 whos believes the world will end in 2012 deserves to be culled from the gene pool, and btw the mayans didnt predeict the emd of the world or any “catastrophe” happening, this myth was perpetrated by a book in which it’s author did little research into the mayans or the calender.
